Burchell-Harris Preserve

The Burchell-Harris Preserve is part of a 5-mile stretch of Trust properties that line the East Branch of the Mount Hope River and its tributaries. It plays a key role in developing a wildlife greenway from the northern Iron Mine Valley to the southern Church Farm. The forested area contains mixed hardwoods and conifers with an interior wetland.

The land has been in steward Allison Burchell-Robinson’s family for almost 300 years, and was at one time known as the Bicknell Farm.
