    All Day: Why I Walk the Land Photo Contest

    Do you walk the trails at Joshua’s Trust? We want to see what makes you go out and walk our trails! Enter our photo contest with photos of why you walk the land. To enter, simply hashtag #JTphotocontest2019 on Facebook or Instagram along with a title for your photo. Entries will be accepted from June 1st - July 15th. Winners will receive a Joshua’s Trust baseball cap and their photo featured on Joshua’s Trust’s website home pages. For a full list of rules, click here..

    Grab your easel, canvas and paints and join other artists in the region at the Atwood Farm on Sunday morning, July 7. Inspire and be inspired as you explore your inner Monet along with well-known artist Shauna Shane.

    Kay's Meadow 6:00 pm: Yoga in Nature

    *Weather dependent*

    Join Mia Mitoma of Fitch House for a yoga practice in nature. Park at the Community Parking Lot on Storrs Road in front of the church and walk up to the Fitch House driveway. We will take a 10 minute walk up to Kay's Meadow together for an all-levels practice before walking back. Bring your own mat and water bottle. Recommended $16 donation to Joshua's Trust.

    Whetten Woods All Day: Whetten Woods Walk with Robert Thorson

    Meet at the Hope Lutheran parking lot. Join geologist and naturalist Robert Thorson on a walk discovering the magic in nature. Easy; kid-friendly; no dogs. Rain cancels. Join the picnic at the Mansfield Farmer's Market afterwards!

    Bring a picnic, your family and friends, and enjoy choral music at Allanach-Wolf, presented by a local choral group. After, enjoy the trails or simply soak in the atmosphere of the this beautiful preserve.

    Atwood Farm 2:00 pm: Cider Pressing at Atwood

    Bring the kids and come enjoy the cider as your great-grandparents and grandparents did, and watch and help with the pressing of the apples. After, enjoy self-guided tours of the farm out-buildings and the orchard. Rain or shine.
