This parcel was the result of a subdivision set-aside when the original Fliegel Farms was developed.
From East Howey Road, the main yellow blazed path (owned by the Trust,) follows an original section of the Old Connecticut Path before turning left into the woods. The walk is very pleasant with views over marvelous broad farm fields on the right. The trail passes by Knowlton Brook, farm fields, ferns and mountain laurel.

Directions: From in intersection of Route 74 and 44 in Ashford, turn down Route 74 towards Willington. Zaicek Road will be on your right opposite Camp Conri on the left. Follow Zaicek Road 1.1 miles to East Howey Road on the right. A small parking area lies on private property to the right at the end of the paved portion. Please be sure not to block any driveway or use of the narrow East Howey Road.
