How do we protect over 4,000 acres, host social events, and maintain Land Trust Alliance accreditation each year? With help from people like you! Our dedicated volunteers help steward preserves, assist in the office, and put on events, and logged more than 20,000 hours last year alone.  But there is always more to be done, and we need more volunteers. Stewardship

General:  Trail blazing and clearing, lumber hauling, bridge and boardwalk building, property monitors (walking/checking boundaries and trails once or twice per year), and brush removal and invasive plant control.

Specific: Carpenters, land surveyors, and Stewards, Easement Monitors, and steward Regional Coordinators.

Outreach & Events

General:  Manning informational booths at local social events, leading walks on preserves.

Specific:  Leading interpretive guide walks/talks (e.g., historical, archaeological, plant and animal).

Office Administration

General:  Preparing membership mailings, filing paperwork, and other office needs.

Specific:  GIS and GPS map-making and data management.
