Many volunteer opportunities and times can be flexible to fit your schedule.


General: Trail blazing and clearing, lumber hauling, bridge and boardwalk building, property monitors (walking/checking boundaries and trails periodically), and brush removal and invasive plant control.

Specific: Carpenters, land surveyors, and Stewards, Easement Monitors, and steward Regional Coordinators.

Outreach and Events

General:  Manning informational booths at local social events, leading walks on preserves.

Specific:  Leading interpretive guide walks/talks (e.g., historical, archaeological, plant and animal).

Office Administration

General:  Preparing mailings, filing paperwork, and other office needs.

Specific:  GIS and GPS map-making and data management.
