Wednesday Walk at Lof Woodlands

Let’s kick off our series of Wednesday Walks with a leisurely stroll on one of our shortest trails.
Lof Woodlands is a very flat, 0.6 mile loop that takes approximately 20 minutes to complete (including stopping to take a few nature photos). The option to complete the loop twice will be provided for anyone interested in a longer walk. The trail is fairly wide and most of the large rocks and roots have been removed. I encountered a small amount of mud during my last walk but, for the most, part, the trail is very dry and easy to navigate. Click HERE for a trail map.
The walk begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. and will be cancelled in the event of rain. Bring water, bug spray, and appropriate hiking gear as needed.
I will post on Instagram and Facebook as well as this page if we decide to cancel the walk due to weather or other, unforeseeable circumstances.

Parking is available on the road shoulder opposite Summer Drive. We will have a sign posted.
