(POSTPONED) Five Mile Hike at Bradley-Buchanan Woods & Mansfield Hollow State Park

January 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS WALK HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO FLOODING. WE WILL PROVIDE A NEW DATE AS SOON AS WE CAN.

Join us at Bradley-Buchanan Woods in Mansfield, CT for a 4.7 mile hike that will take us into Mansfield Hollow State Park and Back

For this wonderful woodland walk, led by volunteer Dawn Heasley, we’ll start on the yellow, JT trail, and head over the bridge into  Mansfield Hollow State Park. This guided hike is one of our longest and will cover varied terrain. Dawn was kind enough to check out the trails recently and sent the photo below of her route and the elevation. We will assess the trail conditions prior to this walk and adjust accordingly. We will likely postpone the walk if the trails are too icy.

Visit our website at the link HERE for more information about the property.

*We will meet at the Mansfield Public Library and take the yellow trail from this point.

The walk begins 10:00 a.m. and will be cancelled in the event of rain. Snow may or may not cancel the event – it depends. Please bring water and appropriate hiking gear as needed.

I will post on Instagram and Facebook as well as this page if we decide to cancel the walk due to weather or other, unforeseeable circumstances.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call me, Michelle Poudrette, the Development and Communications Manager, at (860) 429-9023, or email me at michelle.poudrette@joshuastrust.org. Registration is not required.

We look forward to seeing you in Mansfield.
