A Walk Along the Old Connecticut Path at Madeline Regan Preserve in Tolland.
March 9 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Joshua’s Trust blogger, George Jacobi, will discuss the history of the Old Connecticut Path, a section of which we walk on in the Madeline Regan Preserve. The approximately one mile walk will also include an esker and views of a kettle hole.
Michelle Poudrette, JT’s Development and Communications Manager and native plant enthusiast, will also point out some of the evergreen ferns and clubmosses that grow throughout the property.
This walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. and may be cancelled in the event of rain. Snow may or may not cancel the event – it depends. Please bring appropriate hiking gear as needed. The terrain includes minor hills and some wet areas.
We will post on Instagram and Facebook as well as this page if we decide to cancel the walk due to weather or other, unforeseeable circumstances.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call me, Michelle Poudrette, the Development and Communications Manager, at (860) 429-9023, or email me at michelle.poudrette@joshuastrust.org.
Registration is not required.
We look forward to seeing you in Tolland.
Please note that some GPS systems are sending folks up Evergreen Dr. Please disregard that direction. The entrance to Madeline Megan Preserve is right on CT 74 – about 1.5 miles after it intersects with I84.
