Slow down…breathe deep…take in the natural world around you…

Imagine a practice that could help you reduce stress and find calm and peace in nature. The research-based practice of forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku as it is known in Japan, is just that practice. By slowing down and using all our senses, we will cultivate a connection with nature with many health benefits including the reduction of stress hormones, reduced blood pressure and heart rate, and an increase in cognitive functioning, creativity, and overall happiness.
