Light Pollution 101

This is part one of a three-part series organized by the Last Green Valley in partnership with The Mansfield Public Library and Joshua’s Trust. Geoff and Kim McLean, night sky educators, will guide us through the importance of night skies and the basics of light pollution control in the Last Green Valley. They have vast knowledge of lighting mechanics and the negative effects of light pollution, which they have used to help organizations and municipalities plan lighting projects with safety and cost saving in mind, while reducing light pollution.
