Guided Hike

Join us for a hike at Utley Hill Preserve, a signature Joshua’s Trust property. We will walk through an upland forest, pass by a large upland swamp, and explore the Columbia Lake Brook to see old dam and mill sites. The walk is about 2.5 miles and will take us roughly 1.5 hours. We will meet at the Columbia Recreation Park at 60 Hennequin Road. After you pull into the park, take the first right just before the tennis courts and follow the road until you see the Joshua’s Trust sign.The trails at Utley Hill preserve are well maintained with some areas with small rocks and tree roots. There is the possibility of wet areas or mud, depending on weather conditions. The walk begins at 9:00 a.m. and will be cancelled in the event of rain. We recommend that you bring water, insect repellent and appropriate hiking gear.
There is no fee for this program but donations support future programs at Joshua's Trust.
