Directions: Parking by Mansfield Public Library, which is .5 miles north from the intersection of Route 89 and Route 195; limited parking off Edgewood Lane extension.
About the Property
Hugh and Betsey Hamill donated the 10 acre Pond Lot parcel in 1986, which borders the lower end of Echo Lake. The Pond Lot parcel contains very interesting geology, with kettle holes, a peat bog, and unusual flora and fauna.
Location: Mansfield Center, Connecticut. Trailhead is behind the Mansfield Public Library’s Buchanan Center, on Route 89
