Climate Change Action Series – Beth Bernard

At this event, we will host Beth Bernard from the CT Forest and Park Association and Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Beth will introduce an environmental education program called Project Learning Tree (PLT), which aims to teach educators, community leaders, and parents about how to talk with children about climate change—focusing on action-oriented topics related to resiliency. Join us for exciting discussions regarding CT’s Environmental Literacy Plan and activities related to calculating carbon footprints, estimating the extent and effects of sea level rise, and more!
