Ramble in the Woods – Thoreau Style (Walktober #72)

October 5 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Please register for this event at the following link: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/6JAoz7Id0QNtIHgw88m9HQ

Join naturalist Deb Field for a ramble through the Harvey Preserve. The approximately 1 mile trail meanders through wooded swamp, upland forest, and along unique geological features and is reminiscent of Brister’s Hill, one of Henry David Thoreau’s regular rambles between Walden Pond and Concord.

Sturdy shoes, water & bug spray recommended.

We will post on Instagram and Facebook as well as this page if we decide to cancel the walk due to weather or other, unforeseeable circumstances.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Michelle Poudrette, the Development and Communications Manager, at (860) 429-9023, or email michelle.poudrette@joshuastrust.org.

We look forward to seeing you in Chaplin.
