Wednesday Walk at Tower Hill Preserve
March 6 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Join us at Tower Hill Preserve in Chaplin, CT.
The yellow loop through the Tower Hill Preserve is approximately 1.3-miles long. We will be walking on long-abandoned farm roads through an oak forest that provides important habitat for nesting birds and mammals. We will take the short red spur trail to Stonehouse Brook where you can sometimes view an intermittent waterfall on the far hillside.

*Parking will be on the grass as you enter the property.
The walk begins at 9:00 AM and will be cancelled in the event of rain. Snow may or may not cancel the walk – it depends. Please bring water and appropriate hiking gear as needed.
I will post on Instagram and Facebook as well as this page if we decide to cancel the walk due to weather or other, unforeseeable circumstances.
