Invasive Species Clean-Up!
Joshua's Trust, the Mansfield Public Library, & the Mansfield Invasive Plant Working Group need your help to eliminate non-native plants on the boundary of the Bradley-Buchanan Woods in Mansfield!
Invasive plants like Japanese Barberry and Oriental Bittersweet choke out native plants and degrade the ecosystem. Meet us at the Mansfield Public Library and work alongside volunteers from Joshua's Trust & the Connecticut Invasive Plant Working Group to get these invasives out of these preserved lands!
Some light hand tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Please wear gloves, sturdy shoes, wear insect repellant, and dress smart for ticks.
Meet by the Buchanan Auditorium at the Mansfield Public Library.
