Tinkerville Brook Preserve in Ashford is a watershed’s best friend! Community members of all ages are invited on a leisurely hike through this remarkable 42-acre woodland.

  • Learn about how Tinkerville’s Brook Preserve’s healthy and intact ecosystem contributes to the flow of clean, cold water from the brook to the greater Natchaug watershed beyond
  • Marvel at an old mill site & massive stone bridge abutment
  • Learn about how the Preserve’s healthy and intact ecosystem contributes to cold, clean water flowing through the brook to Bissonnette Pond, the Fenton River and the greater Natchaug watershed beyond
